Planning is an essential step when building a website. Before you start you need a good plan.

We have a simple six-point philosophy on Web architecture.

1. Easy to find – The address is up to you but it needs to be simple. If they can’t find your website nothing else matters. You can have more than one address that opens to your site.

2. Loads fast – The home page should load in five to six seconds max. Keep the home page simple and fast.

3. Opens with a wow factor. It looks good! First impressions are lasting and you only get one shot at this.

4. Navigates with ease – KISS – Make it so easy a caveman can do it. A good website is logical and intuitive to navigate.

5. Worthy content – Remember that content is KING.

6. Achieves objective – No excuses here.
